Eyebrows are an integral part of the face – they can make or break a look. Brows can many things, unruly, brushed up, brushed down, coloured, shaped, shaved off, drawn on, blocked out or bleached, even ignored.
Each decade follows a new trend on brows. The current Kardashian era of beauty we have been living through is still seemingly the most popular on social media and cat walks.
As an artist, you should know your history of brows!
As an artist you need to know natural to avante-garde brows. Soft to harder, more structured brows, personality brows, theatrical brows etc.
You should also know about the different products you can use to create the looks you want – pencils, shadows, gels, grease, stencils, colours, microblading etc?
Think about the look you are trying to create and what would work best with it. Choice of product so important and applying your knowledge to your work is essential. Not everyone wants the same thing, do offer choice to your clients.
